Hugh Patrick Welsh, Sr.

I'm deeply saddened upon hearing of the passing of Hugh Welsh.There are so many good memories that I will always cherish of Hugh including playing football with us neighborhood kids in the backyard. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Mary Ann,my longtime friend Hugh ,Kevin,Debbie and all of the brothers and sisters. They don't make em like that anymore.

Such a God loving man. Through all of my years at st Leo’s I remember seeing this beautiful soul at every service. And his entire family. If anyone is sitting at the right hand of god it will be mr Welch. God bless you sir Rest in heaven

What a guy! I remember him serving coffee with donuts after mass at St Leo the Great. His sense of humor was wonderful!

He was my second dad. I have so many treasured memories with him and the family.

I am so sorry to hear that Uncle Hugh has passed. I remember him always wisecracking and, if you chose to get into it, you always were on the "bad" end of that exchange! Always unpredictable, ready to get with the kids and have fun, there was usually an opportunity to teach a couple of lessons. His was a heart of gold which he freely shared with all of us.
