Inez M. Hulet

I talk to my mom, Mary Ann, everyday on the phone. It is a rare day when Mom does not mention one of her sisters, Inez or Margaret. I read my Aunty I’s obituary to Mom during a recent phone call. As I read, Mom would interject loving affirmations and tears. We wept together through the list of all the family members gathered to welcome Inez home. One of my favorite memories about Aunty I, was when I was around 13 years old. On a visit, as we made many to Edgerton Drive, Aunty I told me I was too young to be wearing make-up - especially so much blue eye shadow - and that I should not wear blue nail polish - she was absolutely aghast! Still makes me chuckle! Many good memories of all the good times we had at their house - She was such a great cook and her house was always so neat and tidy.

Sympathy and prayers to Inez Hulet’s family during this difficult time. I do not know her, but no doubt my husband Larry Dellefield (RIP 2023) did. He attended Parkside and Hyde Park HS ‘49 at same time and they were a tight knit group of students and neighbors.
