Ira's Obituary

Ira Wilson (I.R.) Owen, Jr. was born September 30, 1933 in Hagarville, Arkansas to Ira Wilson Owen, Sr. and Willie Charlotte Michelsen Owen.  He passed away December 24, 2018 in Hagarville, Arkansas at the age of 85.  He was a logger and a farmer and of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Bunton Owen of the home; his son, Lavon Owen of Clarksville, Arkansas; his step-daughter, Rebecca Schroder of Centerville, Arkansas; his sister, Wanda Meires of Clarksville, Arkansas and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, December 28 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Graveside Services are 3 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Annie's Chapel Cemetery in Hagarville, Arkansas with Reverend Eddie Birdsong officiating.  Pallbearers are Troy Terry and Roy Terry.
