Today we say goodbye to a wonderful lady. Irene Laff, Grandma Irene.

Words can not describe the loss we feel. Oh, how we wish we could have more time. A truly beautiful person, so kind and gentle.

One word that would describe Irene Laff would be love. She had a heart bigger and giving more than most. When she welcomed you into her arms she welcomed you into her family. She brought sunshine, laughter, and a light into your world.

My godmother Irene was always there for me. If you were coming into town it was required you stay with her, even this year! She taught me family matters even if it's not comfortable.
I could only hope that I gave her as much as she gave me. Go in peace Aunt Irene. You are in my heart forever.

It's so hard to know what she was like as a child, but I know my godmother Irene was a loving woman who would give her family everything she could to help them.

You will always be in my heart and part of my life.

Grandma, I think I covered everything there was to say with keeping it PC. We love you so much and wish you were here just for one more day. I'll never forget the last Sunday we spent together and the kisses we blew to each other before I left. Not the mention the constant "I love you" exchange, which is not us. Til we see you again....No news is good news.
