Irene Alice Lentini

Irene A. Lentini, 97, of Allentown, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025.  She was born in Hightstown, where she resided for over 50 years. Irene worked at Meadow Lakes for many years before moving to Las Vegas where she worked as the office manager for Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging.  In retirement, Irene resided with her son first in Kansas, then in Washington State before moving to Allentown to be closer to her daughter.  

Daughter of the late Horace Bollengier and Lydia Bollengier Allen, Irene was predeceased by her sisters, Gertrude May and Lydia Van Os; her sons, Keith Danser and George Danser; her son-in-law, Bruce Freitag; her grandson, Reed Hart Jr., and her granddaughter, Nikolle Danser.

Irene is survived by her daughter Suzanne Freitag of Allentown, NJ; her daughter-in-law Avona Danser of Port Angeles, WA; her grandchildren Denise Hart, Ryan Hart and his partner Laura Koss, Meghan Disciullo and her husband, Mark, Kim Danser, Keith Danser Jr., Shawon Danser, George Danser Jr., and Melissa Danser; and nine great-grandchildren.

Irene had an innate connection to the great outdoors, both flora and fauna in equal measure.  An avid walker, strolling often was how she enjoyed the beauty of the landscape, the furry friends she made along her path, and a peace from the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other.  A well-deserved peace from being vexed (but never daunted!) by her jigsaw puzzles, word searches, and the endless leaves that littered her meticulous lawn.  Once every last leaf was eradicated, Irene cherished the magic of the Christmas season and delighted in decorating all its splendor.  She will be profoundly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.  

Burial will be private at a later date.
