Forever in our hearts Buelo
In loving memory of a wonderful grandfather. We will love you and miss you always. Our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and all the times we spent together driving around the neighborhood were u grew up at talking about where u used to live and about your mom, getting ice cream, eating frosted flakes for breakfast because those were are favorite cereal, laughing together and all the other things we did will always be cherished and loved forever. As I say goodbye and I love you...

Isidoro S. Sierra, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on July 11, 1947, to Carmen Sierra and Paula S. Flores, Isidoro lived a life marked by steadfastness, dedication, and deep love for his family and community.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Apolonio Flores; his stepbrother, Samuel Flores; and his uncles, Leopoldo Q. Saldivar, Pedro Saldivar, and Catarino Niavez.
Isidoro is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Consuelo O. Sierra, with whom he built a life grounded in faith, resilience, and enduring partnership. Together, they raised three children: Robert (Irene) Sierra, Eric Sierra, and Jennifer (Thomas) Jordan. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Kaelin (Patrick) Martinez, Andrew (Sabrina) Sierra, Juh-nessa Casillas-Sierra, Eric Sierra Jr. (Noah), Kianna Sierra, and Jabin Sierra. He is also survived by his brother, Alberto S. (Becky) Sierra, and his uncles, Alejandro Q. (Myrna†) Saldivar and Leonel Q. (Beverly) Saldivar.
Isidoro dedicated 34 years of service to the Texas Department of Transportation before continuing his commitment to public service as a school bus driver for the Cotulla Independent School District. His work ethic and humility left a lasting impression.
A proud Cotulla Cowboy, Isidoro, was a standout running back during his high school years and remained a loyal supporter of both the Cotulla Cowboys and his favorite Texas NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys, throughout his life. He often reminisced about his days on the football gridiron and doing track & field, fondly recalling long jump efforts and relay team triumphs.
Playing cards, softball, and fishing were some of his on-again, off-again pastimes that brought him peace and joy. Even as he faced the progressive onset challenges of Alzheimer’s over the past 16 years, Isidoro’s spirit remained rooted in love, laughter, and the memories he shared with those closest to him.
His life was a testament to steadfast devotion and quiet courage. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
