As Riley says, Uncle JB is a legend. Always quiet, solid, strong, and fully committed to his family, and to Aunt Iva Lee. From the "after Christmas shopping" for my first Christmas ornaments as a young married woman to cooking for me in his days "alone" after Aunt Iva Lee went to her heavenly home, i will always remember our times together. I loved hearing him tell me about how they fell in love and stuck together through the most difficult days of life. i miss him and his wisdom, character,...

Dad was a great husband and father. I can't remember him ever being upset or mad at anything or anyone.
He was simply an all-around good guy, and the definition of a gentleman. His only regret was not being able to die on the farm in his lazy boy, but he did get to spend the last seven months with us, the dog, and five cats, which was a treat for all.
