J. Michael Stevenson, Sr., 70, of Evansville passed away Monday April 15, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center.Mike worked in the casino industry for 36 years, opening many casinos including Casino Aztar. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mike enjoyed all sports and took great pride in his New York teams.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary (Moore) Stevenson and brother, Robert Stevenson.He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joanne (Grillo) Stevenson; sons, Dustin MacPherson (Beth) of Melrose, MA, Dane Michael Stevenson (Mandy) of Evansville, IN, John Michael Stevenson, Jr. (Andrea) of New Albany, NY and David Stevenson (Allison) of Oswego, NY; daughter, Mary Lynne Maxwell (Scott) of Oswego, NY; grandchildren, , Luke MacPherson, Liam MacPherson, Ariana Stevenson, John Michael Stevenson III, Connor Stevenson, Emma Grace Stevenson; sister, Linda Gowda (John); brothers, Jim Stevenson (Beth) and Dennis Stevenson (Kathy) and his dog Baylee.A Celebration of Mike's life will be from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday April 20, 2013 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S.
