Jack's Obituary

BIG STONE GAP, VA – JACK ORION LANE, 1 WEEK OLD

Jack Orion Lane went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on February 21, 2026. He was a beautiful and precious baby boy who will be greatly missed. His memory will live on in our hearts always. Jack is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather Jackie Lane.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Amber Lane and Princeton Smith; maternal grandmother, Renee Patterson; paternal grandfather, Princeton Turner; maternal great-grandmother, Stella “Nanny” Lane; 2 sisters, Zayanna Smith and Stori Smith; 6 brothers, Julian Carr, Jacobi Carr, Jett Cox, Armani Smith, Audi Smith and Zuviyah Smith; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Holston View Cemetery with Pastor Gail Scheffers officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 PM.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Colonial Funeral Home, Holston View Cemetery and 58 Flower Stop for their help during this difficult time.
