I worked for Dr. Markusen starting Aug. 1977 Dianne Moore was his first employee and I started six months later. I worked for him for four years of his practicing dentistry. During that time, he and his wife, Joyce had a sweet baby boy, Bryan. There were many times that I baby sat Bryan while his mom was undergoing cancer treatments.
Dr. Markusen taught me many things that contributed to my becoming a more efficient dental assistant. I am very grateful for that.

I worked for Doc for about a year. He was kind and encouraging. He was a boss that turned into family. God bless him and his family. I miss you doc.

I only met Jack's son Bryan when he was 10 or 11 when Jack took us to a sports event. I dated Jack a few times but he was also my dentist and we always remained friends. I'm so saddened by this. My deepest, heartfelt sympathy to all of his family. May he rest in peace with his dear mother and all of his loved ones.
