jack and i were good friends and for years we played poker on every super bowl sunday for years .nelda we were very sorry to here that jack passed away our prayer are with you and your family .

Jack had a huge impact me both personally and professionally (at McDonald's). I attribute my marriage to the love of my life Bill to Jack. He at one of my most discouraging moments many years after he moved on from McDonald's. He gave me some advice and encouragement. Jack was that kind of man. I will be unable to attend his funeral as i will be upnorth at my moms. Jim and I were neighbors of Jack and Nelda’s for 17 years. Neighbors that exams like family! My heart aches for Nelda. I will be covering the family with prayers!

Sorry for the familys loss. I worked with Jack at McClure 32. He was our DM and became a friend. He was a good guy. He would come Visit Tina and I at Mcclures after he retired. We will miss him and his visits.

Jack's Obituary

Jack L. Teska, age 67, of Nappanee, Indiana, died on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:00pm at his residence.  He was born on September 7, 1958 to Jack L. Teska Sr. and Germanie (Tokarski) Teska.  Jack was a graduate of South Bend Washington High School.  He married Nelda Weaver on April 17, 1978.  Jack was recently retired and had worked for 19 years at McDonald’s, 22 years at McClure Oil, and 5 years at Martin’s Supermarket.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and going to the casino.  Jack was an avid Notre Dame Fan.  He is survived by his wife, Nelda; two sons, Seth Michael Teska, and Chase Michael Teska, both of Nappanee; brothers and sisters, Lisa Skubis, Brenda Teska, and Kendall (Dawn) Teska, all of Fort Myers, Florida, Kyle (Sheila) Teska, DaLome Teska, and Denay Teska, all of South Bend.  Jack was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Tina Lossee and Robert Teska.  There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Coppes Commons in Nappanee (401 E. Market St.) from 2-4 pm with a meal served at 4pm. Officiating will be a family friend, Chuck Crum.  Memorial contributions in Jack’s name can be made to Goshen Cancer Center.  Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
