Not sure what to say?

My best friend in high school, who married one of my oldest friends, Jean. I am afraid I don't have the words, but goodbye Jack. Even though we were separated by the time, space and events of life, not having you in this world makes everything seem hollower. My condolences and those of my wife, Kim, to Jean and family.

I worked with Jack at Sprint yellow pages and YellowBook. He was a great mentor and teacher. He was always clowning around and didn’t take things too seriously, we just had fun! My condolences to his wife and family, he will be missed.

Often when I spoke to Jack and asked him how he was or how his day was going he would say 'Peachy'. It could be said in a lighthearted way, or through gritted teeth. And so I called him peaches. We worked together at Sprint Yellow Pages/Yellow Book and I thought of him as both a mentor and friend. I am so saddened by his loss and I can't imagine the void it has left for his family. Many thoughts with all of you. I know there will be a lifetime of stories shared. He was the best.

For many years I worked with Jack at NSD/Sprint Yellow Pages, both as a rep, and also as a management team member. Jack was always caring about our team and every client that we called on. I always referred to him as Jack the actor because he ran special meetings as someone other than Jack, but that was one of the special memories we will all have of those wonderful days- young people have little idea about what we brought to business. To understand, one must think of google being on printed...

Ten years ago I had the good fortune to live across the street from the Wersching’s for 5 months when transitioning from Illinois to Oregon. I quickly came to see how totally devoted Jack & Jeanie were to each other. I am truly saddened by Jack’s untimely passing and know he will be sorely missed. I pray that many fond memories will help during this difficult time. God Bless the entire Wersching family.

I am very sorry to hear about the death of your husband Jeanie. My prayers will be said for you and your family. Clare Welter, Taft High School, Class Of 1973

My friend Jack with Ed, my brother Rick and me in September 2023

I cannot think of my friend Jack without a smile on his face. He was a kind, warm and wonderful person. I loved him, and although gone, he will never be forgotten. RIP my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about Jack's passing. Lissa and I donated to an organization called Latino Outdoors in Jack's name. We thought it would be a fitting cause since they host programs to encourage Latino youth to enjoy the outdoors. We know Jack cared about his students very much and loved the outdoors.

Val so sorry to hear about your dad my thoughts are with you and your family.
