WEATHERFORD - Jackie (Jack) Lee Johnson passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017.Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 200 S. Lakeshore Dr., Weatherford. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church or to a Parkinson's Foundation.Jackie was born on October 7, 1936 in Trinidad, Colo., son of Bruce and Madge Johnson. He graduated from Floydada High School in 1955, then proudly served five years in the U. S. Air Force. Following his service, he worked for a few years for Texas Electrical Service Co. in Fort Worth. He then worked for thirty years for General Motors in Arlington, until he retired in 1993.Jackie and his wife, Jo, loved to travel with their fifth-wheel trailer and go water and snow skiing with family and friends. He served as an Elder and Deacon at the Bedford Christian Church in Bedford. In 1996, they moved to Weatherford and became faithful members of the Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church. They enjoyed being with the members and singing in the Joyful Singers Choir.Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Madge Johnson; brother, Bruce Junior Johnson; son, Michael Lee Johnson; sister, Cindy Mae Augenstein and grandson, Lucas Hardy.Survivors: Wife, Jo Frances Johnson; son, Kenneth Johnson and wife, Eva, of Atlanta, Geo.; sister, Darlene James and husband, Bill; nephew, Brett Augenstein and wife, Heather, of Bradenton, Flo.; five grandchildren, Kenneth's child, Christina Barrett and husband, Michael, of Keller, deceased son Michael Lee's children, Zachery Johnson, Jennifer Correa, Rachael and her husband, Tim, of Orlando, Flo., Dee Dra Scott of Elkhart, Ind.; seven great-grandchildren, Presley, Alissa, Ryan, Samantha, Lona, Ben and Emma; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.Services are in care of White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
