Not sure what to say?

Donna, I'm so sorry to have read about Gerard's passing. I didn't become aware of it until today. I had the pleasure of seeing him perform on quite a few occasions over the years. He was a class act. And I appreciated your kind words when we lost Joe.

Best Man for Charles Cochrane and Delores Arnette May 19, 1972

Thank you Gerard for stepping up to the plate in our hour of need 53 years ago. You were always a true friend. God and His angels are welcoming you home. Rest in Heavenly Peace. Condolences to your family and many, many friends.

We know the angels in heaven are rejoicing at the addition of one more loving soul!

We grew up with Gerard as a classmate and friend. His mother was a beloved friend of my Mom Mrs. Ross.

We were never amazed at how Gerard ( and Donna ) used his gifts because Excellence and Caring were character traits his mom Mrs B modeled. Thank you Gerard for sharing your gifts with us!

Gloria and The Ross Family

Only fond and pleasant memories..May he rest in peace. His presence will be missed.

I feel so absolutely blessed to have known Gerard. He was an amazing bass player, and an even better person. So grateful to have made music with him.

RIH Gerard. Praying for Donna and the family!

With deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Benson family for your loss. I will miss Gerard. He was a lifelong friend to our family. Rest in peace.

Gerard was the bass player in the first real band I was ever in. I was a fish out of water; the obvious choice of "What's wrong with this picture;" a rookie among pros. He was kind and supportive and I eventually got a little better, but he never made me feel like I didn't belong. I got to work with him many times over the years and I will miss him greatly.

I will miss your performance with A Sign of the Times and the way you handled your instrument with expertise. Rest in Power, condolences to the family
