Jackie was the most kind and caring person. She was a beautiful friend for many years and she will be missed by so many. May God comfort her family during this difficult time and bring them peace in the days ahead. Hold onto the good memories of her love to help get you through the hard days of grief. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Jacqueline Carol DeMarches, age 62 of Franklin, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11am at Crafton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Stony Point Cemetery in Allen County.  Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Wednesday and after 6am Thursday at the funeral home.  A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Allen and Shirley Wood Nettles.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband – John DeMarches, step dad – David Nettles and grandfather – Houston Wood.  Jackie was a  member of the former Stony Point Methodist Church in Allen County.  She was a cosmetologist and worked as a server for many years at the Cracker Barrel.  She is survived by her children – Heather Jarman (William) of Franklin, Kristi Woolbright (Darrell) of Scottsville, John DeMarches, III (Jennifer) of Bowling Green, Michaela Queen (Anthony) of Franklin and Nathaniel DeMarches (Madalyn Decker) of Glasgow; brother – Carl David Allen of Franklin; grandchildren – Gavin, Allie, Luke, Ethan, Bryan, Ryan Elizabeth, Katlyn, Jacob, Aidan, Belle, Landon, Parker, Falynn, Tylin and Lively; great grandchildren – Charlotte and Weston.
