Not sure what to say?

I grew up in the same neighborhood and babysat sometimes for Jackie and Rick. Jackie and I also shared driving to work when we both had jobs at Sears - at what we all called the "New Mall" in Manchester. She and I were good friends back then. I knew her to be a truly kind and gentle woman with a huge heart. I appreciate and treasure my memories with her and her family. My thoughts are with Rick, Lori and the rest of the family. May she rest in peace and be reunited with those she loved who...

I grew up in their neighborhood and used to babysit for Rick and Jackie. I will never forget her infectious smile. Jackie had a vibrant personality. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.

Jacqueline's Obituary

Jacqueline S. Olson, 76, a longtime resident of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully Sunday Oct. 5, 2025 at Bedford Hills Center in Bedford, NH after a brief illness.

Jackie was born in Manchester, NH on Oct. 30, 1948, a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Lucienne M. (Fortin) St. Denis.

She was the heart and soul of our family. Every gathering was filled with the sound of her laughter and the unmistakable aromas of her cooking surrounded everyone like a warm hug. For decades she has anchored our family, and we are forever grateful to her. We can best honor her legacy by continuing her example; by opening our doors, homes, and hearts to all. She was loved by anyone who knew her and will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her beloved daughter Bonnie C. Olson in 2017, and her cherished grandson Shawn Olson in 2018.

Members of her surviving family include her devoted husband of 59 years Richard Olson; daughter Lori; two sons Keith and Eric; daughter-in-law Denise; her grandchildren Rachel, Amber, Nathan, Racine, and Riley; great-grandchildren Dominic, Baileigh, Braedyn, Alayna, Erica, Freya, and Luna; her sister Patricia Power of Hooksett; several nieces and nephews, and her closest friends Kathy and Nancy.
