Jacqueline's Obituary

Jacqueline Rossitto, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on September 11, 2024 at the age of 60 years old.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut to Antonino Salvatore Rossitto and her late mother, Rita Irene Rossitto, Jackie spent most of her life in her hometown of Rocky Hill. She lived a short drive away from her sister and parents, and often stopped by their houses with a Dunkin’ iced coffee in hand.

Jackie was known for her free spirit and perseverance; her laughter filled up any space she was in. Her daughter Tori Mazzarella recalled Jackie as being the type of person who could walk into a room and become friends with anyone. Above all, she will be remembered for her unconditional love of her children and granddaughters, fiercely rooting for them in every endeavor.

With her fun and outgoing energy, Jackie loved spending her summers at the beach in Rhode Island, going to concerts with her sister, cooking for her family, hanging out with her friends, and riding down the freeway on the back of a Harley. She also cherished the everyday memories made with her sister, whether it was attending their sons’ football games or going on walks together .

As a loving dog mom, Jackie brought Abby with her everywhere: strolling around the neighborhood, down to the river at their favorite spot, and even to the grocery store. You could always find Abby by her side.

In her final year, Jackie looked forward to her weekly breakfast dates with her son, Ernie, during which she would request an entire can of whipped cream with her waffles.

Jackie leaves behind her father Antonino Rossitto, her dog Abby, her three children Tarra Anderson, Tori Mazzarella, and Ernest Mazzarella III, her granddaughters Harper and Paige, her son-in-law Todd Anderson, her siblings Theresa Held, Tony Rossitto, and Luciano Rossitto, their spouses Bill Held, Behnoosh Behmaram, and Trina Rossitto, and her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
