Jackie lived down the street from me and was one of my first friends here and we remained close after that! She was a little older than my kids and once gave me a wine glass that said FROM YOUR FAVORITE CHILD!
I loved her zest for life, her enthusiasm and her fun spirit! There was always a party when Jackie was there! We waited all year to see her big Halloween reveal and she never disappointed us! I spent our Saturday nights watching Hallmark movies at her house while she was...

I worked with Jackie for monthly home visits for a short time in 2025. She was such a fun person to get to know; we talked about jokes, Halloween, crafts, books, Italy, traveling, dogs and kids, her family. She truly was a bright light and I enjoyed our visits, that sometimes were more social than they were medical :) Our conversations would have lasting impact on me, and I had the impression that was just how Jackie was with most all of her interactions :) My thoughts go to her family and...

Jacqueline Kaye “Jackie” Silcox-Mucha passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at the age of 51, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous and vigilant battle with cancer.
Jackie was born on January 19, 1974, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard “Rick” Mucha, whom she loved deeply. Jackie moved to Missouri and made St. Louis her home in 2006.
Jackie lived life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and heart. She built a successful career in the collections industry and later fulfilled a dream by starting her own business, a testament to her independence, determination, and strong work ethic.
Her greatest joy was traveling. Jackie had the opportunity to live abroad in Italy, where she immersed herself in the culture and formed many meaningful friendships, several of which became lifelong. These experiences shaped her worldview and were among her most cherished memories.
Jackie delighted in the simple pleasures of life. She loved word search puzzles, diamond art projects, book club gatherings, and any reason to celebrate. She truly loved a good party. Her passion for wine was well known, and she enjoyed discovering and sharing it with friends. Halloween held a special place in her heart, and each year she embraced it fully by dressing up in elaborate costumes that reflected her creativity and joy.
Jackie was a devoted dog mom and a raving fan of everything Pomeranian. Her first Pomeranian was Krizbit, followed by Cricket, Ladi, and Gruff. She loved her fur babies dearly, and they brought her constant companionship, comfort, and happiness.
Survivors include her goddaughter, Piper Tilley, whom she loved very much. Jackie cherished spending time with Piper and deeply enjoyed their adventures and the special moments they shared together. She is also survived by her mother, Ann; her stepfather, George Kuhn; her father, Neal; her stepmother, Beth Silcox; her in-laws; brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and a wide circle of friends who will miss her vibrant spirit, resilience, generosity, and joy for life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 18 in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, with an open house from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 1215 Silver Fern Drive, Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
A Memorial Service and Graveside Dedication will take place on May 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South, 2200 West, Riverton, Utah, followed by a graveside dedication at 12:30 p.m. at Riverton Cemetery, 1500 West, 13200 South, Riverton, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie’s memory to the Center for Autism Education in St. Peter’s, Missouri, and your local animal charities.
Jackie will be remembered for her strength, adventurous spirit, love of celebration, deep affection for her fur babies, and the lasting light she brought into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Ciao Bella, until we meet again.
