Jacquelyn A Sicinski, of Joliet IL, passed away on March 19th, 2025, at the age of 85. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1957 and went on to work for the Farm Bureau in downtown Chicago. In her younger years she was an avid bowler involved in many leagues and tournaments. Jackie enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible and feeding her hummingbirds and squirrels. When she had the chance, she loved to play Bingo and go to the casino and play the penny slot machines.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas J Sicinski, her parents John and Johanna Klen (Lojeski) and her brother Ronald Klen. She is survived by her daughter Joy Sicinski, daughter Jill Vella (Sicinski), son-in-law Michael Vella, grandson Nicholas Vella, her granddaughter Danielle DeJesus (Vella), and her husband Andy DeJesus. She loved being a great- grandmother to Gianna and Aiden DeJesus. She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Lajcin(Klen), brother-in-law Daniel Lajcin, and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many.
Visitation is Wednesday, March 26th from 5 - 8 p.m. at Tezak’s Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Prayer service will be Thursday, March 27th at 9:30AM then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a Catholic Mass at 10 a.m. A private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
