Jade Laquinta Marie Martinez was born November 11,1997 to Jamell and Khisha Humphrey in Pontiac, Michigan. She transitioned to glory on November 30, 2025. Jade was preceded in death by brother; Omarion “Mars” Humphrey, great-grandmother; Mary E. Humphrey, and aunt; Christina Humphrey.
Jade graduated from ITA in 2015, and then went on to graduate from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Jade loved animals, her family, watching sci-fi, travelling, robo.cs and her favorite color is blue.
She leaves to cherish her beloved husband and love of her life, Juan Martinez, daughter; Reyna Martinez and son; Israel Martinez, parents; Jamell and Khisha Humphrey, brothers; Jamell “LJ” Humphrey, Joaquin Humphrey, Keanu Humphrey, Atreyu Humphrey, Khalil Humphrey, Dartanyan Humphrey, Pharrell Humphrey and Pharaoh Humphrey, sisters; Ashante Rollinson, Leesa Humphrey, Jamilah (Zachary) Humphrey-Eversole, Cyrria Humphrey-Mims, Isis Humphrey and bonus sister and best friend Janelle Arnold. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Cobb’s Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm-6:00pm.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Anointed Word Ministries 1361 Giddings, Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour will begin at 10:00am and services will start at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan,, immediately after the service.
