Jakub Zientek, age 40, was the cherished son of Anna Zientek and the late Hieronim Zientek; dearest brother of Michalina Zientek (Michael Kretch); loving uncle of Aleksander Kretch and beloved grandson of the late Bogumila Wdzieczna. He is also survived by his dear cousins and many friends. Jakub was loved by many and will be remembered for his kindness and incredible artistic talents. He saw the world through an artist's eyes and built it with a craftsman's hands. As an exterior building mechanic, he blended art and construction with rare vision. To him, every building was a canvas--every project, a chance to bring beauty to the everyday. His legacy lives in the structures he touched and the quiet artistry he brought to the world around him.
Gone far too soon, but loved beyond measure—Jakub will forever remain in our hearts.
Visitation will be at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Avenue Niles on Saturday, August 30th from 9:00 AM until time of service 11:30 AM to St. John Brebeuf Church for 12:00 PM Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. Funeral info: 847-966-7302.
