He was such a kind and friendly person. He had a welcoming smile and was very pleasant to talk to. He was such a nice neighbor to us as we recently moved to Las Vegas and we thank him for being a kind soul. Our deepest condolences to his loved ones. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

In 1996, we met Jamal when we moved from Chicago to Henderson (Paradise Hills). Two of our three children attended Basic High School and they quickly became friends. Jamal became part of our family along with other kids in our community. Jamal will always be considered "family" to us. Jamal had such a kind soul and he never had a negative thought to say about anyone. He was always saying kind things about people. He was not judgmental and accepted people for who they are, What a great quality to process.
He loved his children; Imani and Isaiah so much , he loved to just "hangout" with them and do whatever they wanted to do. He loved their Mother, Danielle and they are best of friends.
I love you Jamal , thank you for giving me such wonderful grandchildren.
