Not sure what to say?

Through my dear friendship with his daughter, Lisa Saunders, I was blessed to know Jim and to accept his generosity, appreciation, and love. I'm forever changed.

The Lord give you peace.
On behalf of the Capuchin friars, I offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of James Audette. I pray that James may rest in peace, and that God's merciful love comfort all those who mourn his death. James and his wife, Maria have support the Capuchins for many years for which the friars are truly grateful. May God bless you as you grieve.

Uncle Jim always had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the room. His warmth, kindness, and smile will never be forgotten. I’m grateful for the time I had with him, and I will carry those memories with me. Sending love and prayers to Maria, Lisa, Deborah, and the whole family during this time.

Carole and I both worked at Pine Knob and used to see Jim on a regular basis. We always chatted and discussed the days events. I talked to Jim recently about the wonderful game of golf.

It was always so special to meet with Jim and Maria for holiday dinners at the Weathervane in Charlevoix. He had so much charisma and energy. It was a pleasure to have him as a part of our lives. Rest in peace, old friend, and consolation to you, dear Maria!

Uncle Jim was my mother's younger brother. I recall from the earliest age that they loved each other's company. During family get togethers, Uncle Jim was always a center of attention, not by his choice, but because of his smile, desire to only get to know you and never talk about himself, his humor and his laughter.

On numerous occasions when I was in high school, he and I would ride up from the Detroit area to Port Austin to visit family for the weekend. I have always...
