Mr. James Nelson Bittick, of Warrenton, MO, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 27, 1938 in Morse Mills, MO, to the late Mildred (nee: McCulloch) Bittick. James had reached the age of 87 years.
James was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Vollmer on March 5, 1966 in St. Louis, MO. They recently celebrated 59 wonderful years together. They were blessed with two children Kelly and James. James enjoyed planting and taking care of his flowers. His favorite pastime was watching television, especially old western movies. James was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather. His family is what meant the most to him and his presence will be missed dearly.
James is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Bittick; two children, Kelly Branhof (Edward) and James Bittick (Tracy); three grandchildren, Nicki Sparks (Tyler), Brooke Lindbergh (Alex), and Devin Bittick; three great grandchildren, Elle Wiss, Austin Wiss, and Conrad Lindbergh; and one brother, Howard Bittick (Janene); other relatives and many friends. James is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Bittick; and one grandson, John Branhof.
