James will be so very much missed by everyone he came into contact with. He was such a blessing. Prayers for your whole family.

Wendy, Tommy and I have been praying for you. James and Becky will always be two of the greatest people that God placed here on Earth. I loved talking with them. You are very blessed to have had such a good mom and dad. They loved you very much. Now, may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

James was loved the moment he stepped into wheeler heights.such a sweet man.will be missed so much

JONES COUNTY: James Marion Bonner, Sr, 70, of Georgia Highway 49, North, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at a local hospice facility. The family will greet friends one hour prior to an 11:00am, funeral service on Friday, May 29, 2015, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Rev. Franklin Etheridge and Rev. Joe Ferguson will officiate.Mr. Bonner was born December 15, 1944, in Milledgeville and had lived in Jones County most of his life. He was the son of the late Sam Bonner and Mary Calif Bonner. Mr. Bonner attended Wheeler Heights Baptist Church and had worked as a drywall specialist until his retirement in 2010. He truly loved his family, church family, but most of all Jesus. Mr. Bonner was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-two years: Rebecca Bonner.Mr. Bonner is survived by his daughters and son-in-law: Evelyn Dominguez and Wendy and Anthony Mitchell; Sons and daughters-in-law: James Bonner, Jr., Jon and Jennifer Bonner and Chris and Mandy Wesson; eight grandchildren; and by ten great-grandchildren.The family asks that contributions be made to the Daybreak Shelter, Post Office Box 204, Macon, Georgia 31202.
