James Francis Daugherty, Jr.James Francis Daugherty, Jr., 64 of Kingwood, died Monday, June 10, 2013 at his home.He was born October 3, 1948, in Greensburg, PA, a son of Catherine Nemec Daugherty and the late James F. Daugherty, Sr.He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. James was an engineer and served as Vice-President of Operations and President for the Kingwood Mining Company and also worked for Taggart Inc. He enjoyed working on his 1957 Chevy.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Baughman Daugherty; a son, James S. Daugherty and wife, Stephanie of Clayton, NC; two daughters, Michele M. Corbin and husband, Jason of Fairmont and Renee L. Stonebraker and friend, Jeremy Summers of Kingwood; a sister, Katherine Daugherty Penn and husband, William of Seven Fields, PA and five grandchildren, Bryson Stonebraker, Madison Corbin, Jacob Corbin, Cole Daugherty and Kaylee Daugherty.Family will receive friends at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM and on Thursday from 10AM till 11AM the funeral hour with Reverend Michael Argabrite officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Preston County Humane Society, 400 Preston Drive, Kingwood, WV 26537.
