Not sure what to say?

I’m so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was such a wonderful man. I have so many great memories of your dad’s sense of humor and generosity. The photo album depicts such a happy man. I’m so sorry I didn’t attend the funeral I was away and that I’m just seeing this now on fb. Gif bless you during this time of sorrow.

What a beautiful photo tribute to a wonderful man. So full of love for life and family. I can hear his voice and laughter still in memory. My heart goes out to all the family, wishing you comfort in a life well lived. Love,

What a fabulous Uncle! He was just the best, so kind, so wise and so fun to be around. I certainly wish I had lived closer to spend more time with him. Always in my ♥ love you Uncle Jim

There was never a day when you didn’t have a smile Grampy. You led with love and happiness every day. I will always be grateful for the moments we shared. You were generous without expectation. And it’s a quality that lives with me every single day. I will miss you dearly, but am so blessed to have had you and Grammy. You both will live in my heart and soul forever. And are missed greatly by so many.

I was lucky enough to live downstairs from Mr. Jim, as my kids affectionately called him, from 2017 - 2021. He was like a second grandfather to them, showing up quite frequently with ice cream and other sweets, usually right before dinner lol. He was such a kind man and I always enjoyed hearing his stories. He lived quite a life and brought such joy to those who knew him. They don’t make them like Mr. Jim anymore! Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Having visited with "Mr. D" all those times when we were in high school, he always spoke with , not to, us as adults. His stories and philosphies were fun and interesting. To this day, whenever I see a photo of Mr. D on Facebook, I always have an immediate flashback to those wonderful times. May God Rest His Soul and he Rest in Peace!

Out for breakfast with Jim. I´m pretty sure we gabbed over 3 hours!

So many fun memories with Mad and Jim. Enjoyed many a night of cards and games with them, Doug and Susan. Heaven must be having quite the reunion. Thanks for all the stories and laughs “Jimmy D”you will be missed.

What a great review of a wonderful life, may he rest in peace

I never saw Jimmy D without a smile or a twinkle in his eyes! He will be missed! He was special!
