James Clyde Durham, Jr.EasleyJames Clyde Durham, Jr., 71, of Easley, husband of the late Evelyn Bryant Durham, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at the home of his son.Born August 26, 1943 in Pickens County, he was a son of the late James Clyde and Ruth Nix Durham. Mr. Durham was a retired supervisor with Metromont Materials with sixteen years of service. He was a proud forty-five year member of West End Baptist Church where he served as Deacon for ten years. Mr. Durham was a caring husband, father and grandfather who was ?all about? his grand kids.He is survived by his children, Jerry Durham (Tammy), Angela Smith (Aaron) and Gerald Durham (Angie); Sandy Evatt (Morris), Sharon West (Mike) and Scott Durham (Kim); siblings, Wayne Durham, Ruthie Patterson, Doug Durham, and Glenn Durham; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, Ronald Durham; siblings, Bruce Durham and Kathy Burrell.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at West End Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.The family is at 213 Drury Ln., Mauldin, SC.Memorial contributions may be made to West End Baptist Church Youth Day Camp. 120 Missions Dr., Easley, SC 29642Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown which is assisting the family.
