James Alexander Freeman, Jr. passed away on May 14, 2025, at Chesapeake Regional Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories a host of relative and friends.

A service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veteran's Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk. Family and friends will assemble at 9:45 a.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake, for the processional to the cemetery.
