Not sure what to say?

Jimmy was the best. He always had great stories to share, whether he was recalling his weekend adventures or talking about all the music he's seen or playing to see, he loved sharing his tales with others. When he was roasting coffee he would always play his music loud enough for us to hear in the warehouse, and to say he was the the life of the party is an understatement! The world without him will now be a quieter and less joyful place. I hope he's partying loudly in heaven, drinking a beer...

While I honestly haven’t seen Jimmy since Hoggard graduation night 1979, I can say I was crushed to read of his passing. Like many, you can’t forget his smile and his laughter. I feel like I just ran into him in the hall between classes. Great dude. My condolences to the family. Smile
Like Jimmy did and you’ll be fine soon enough. Bill Clark

Jimmy and I were high school sweethearts but friends for over 45 years. There are no real words to describe what a great loss you have suffered. He was one of a kind and we all will miss him greatly. I will carry him in my heart always as there will never be another man like him. Please know how sorry I am that he is gone far too soon from this world but I know we will all see him again. For now we will have to live with all the great memories he left us with to cherish. My most sincere...

Jimmy, mine and Rob's brother from another Mother, you are missed so very much. I will remember the laughter. We will "meet again" my friend. Love, Dedee Newton Jordan

The family is in my thoughts at this time. So sorry for your loss. You will hear him laugh again.

So sorry for your loss Mike, me and my brother Morris grew up and went to school with the helms brothers,

I wasn't privileged to know you Jimmy as well as I've gotten to know your brother Mike. But I have fond memories of your namesake as a youngster and the friendship our families shared. I'm saddened for the loss your loved ones feel in your absence. But I'm happy you suffer no more. May you rest forever in peace and comfort...

In loving memory of a wonderful person.
I will miss you, my brother!
