PORTSMOUTH- James Eric Hurst, Sr., 55, died June 23, 2015. A native of Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Charles L. Hurst, Sr. Survivors include his mother, Mary Creasy Hurst; daughter, Dana Hurst Alverez; son, James Eric Hurst, Jr.; step-daughter, Katie Hamby; two brothers, Charles Hurst, Jr. and Shawn Hurst; three grandchildren, Trinity, Tristen and Taryn; Godparents Frank and Barbara Creasy, Jr.; aunt, Dana Creasy; nieces and nephew, Christine, Leighanne, and Colin; and various other relatives.A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1 PM in Westhaven Baptist Church.
