Not sure what to say?

My sympathy to you and your family. My Dad was a resident at Heritage. When I visited I would always see Mr. Godsey. He always had on his baseball hat and talked about his time playing baseball. He enjoyed playing bingo and sitting up front or on the porch. He will be missed by many.

Carol, Im so very sorry! You were such a loving wife & cared so much for grandpa Jack! He is now healed! Go rest on that mountain, Grandpa Jack.❤

Richard and Lisa, Roger, Susan and Whitie, Im so sorry to hear of your Dads passing and truly express my condolences to each of you and your families. I know that this is a difficult time for all of you. Hold on to your many memories! You Dads love for each of you, the beautiful flowers that he grew, and the bountiful harvest he had with his gardening are just a few of my memories. May Gods love and peace comfort each of you. Berneta

Roger and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of the death of your Father. Please know we will keep you and your family in our prayers. (We used to be with #88 at So. Bo.)

You are in my prayers and thoughts. I remember so well the times the Godsey's would come visit in Newport News to visit Shirley and our church. It was a pleasure for me to speak to both of them. He always had a smile. May God give you peace in your time of loss. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4 God bless each of you. Grace, Peace, Love and Prayer, Janet

Roger and Richard, praying that God will give you strength through this time of sorrow for you. God is the only one who can comfort you.

Sorry to learn of Uncle Jack's passing. May God bless you, Richard and Susan.

I'm sorry to learn of the passing of Uncle Jack. He was my father's youngest brother. I last saw him and Carol several years ago and he still talked about his garden and roses. He was always so kind. Betty Godsey Baldwin

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
