Nancy & family, I'm very sorry for your loss & extend my deepest condolences on Jim's passing. We were good friends in our youth & shared some wonderful times together in those early teenage years.

Nancy. So sorry for your loss. Many fond memories from years ago. Cherish the memories and remember the good times. With my thoughts and prayers.

JIM AND I EVEN CARPOOLED TOGETHER WHEN WE WORKED ON 2ND SHIFT.WE HAD SOME PRETTY GOOD TIMES AND LAUGHS WHEN WE WERE AT WORK,MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY.HE WAS ALWAYS SO PROUD OF THOSE GIRLS WHO WERE INVOLVED IN THERE SPORTS PROGRAMS AT SCHOOL.ONE OF YOUR MANY CO/WORKERS FROM PLANT 6! James G. Kasemeyer

Saginaw, Michigan

 

Jim Kasemeyer passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the Toni and Trish House. Age 67 years. The son of the late George and Maxine (Fick) Kasemeyer was born July 8, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. Jim was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and was retired from General Motors; he was a volunteer volleyball coach for 20 years and enjoyed gardening, golfing, cooking and collecting coins.

 

Jim is survived by his wife the former Nancy L. Steinbauer; two daughters, Lisa (Rich) Fenlon and Jennifer (Mark) Riselay; five grandchildren, Brittany and Tyler Trapp, Violet Fenlon and Ella and Mikaela Riselay; one brother, Randy (Mary) Kasemeyer; one granddog, Jax and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Trapp and his brother, Bill Kasemeyer.

 

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Nitz with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for Bethany Lutheran Church or the Toni and Trish House will be available at the funeral home.
