I'm sorry I couldn't be with you on this sad occasion. I sure your parents are together and taking long walks again. It's been a while since we were all together at Christ Church and all enjoyed each other's company. Do know that my sympathy and prayers are with your entire family.

To Mr. Marsh''s family: God rest his soul. He and Mrs. Marsh were great people. We have great memories from 9th Street and talk about them all the time. Miss all the good people. I remember Mr. and Mrs Marsh sitting on the porch together. Such good times. May they rest in peace.

We were deeply saddened to read of your father's passing. I especially have fond memories of the years on 9th St. spent with having your family as wonderful neighbors. I remember after I married and moved to NJ that there were many times when I visited my parents, your parents were on their porch chatting away.Those were the good old days when neighbors were truely there for each other. Now your parents are in Heaven and I am sure they are having a good time...

James's Obituary

James Thomas Marsh Sr., 94, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Easton Hospital.

James was born in Pen Argyl, PA, a son of the late Charles Edward and Emma Priscilla (Lewis) Marsh.

James was married to the former Arleen Anna Bickert before her passing in February 2012. He worked for Victaulic before retiring in 1983. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II.

James was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton, PA. 

James is survived by sons James T. Marsh, Jr and wife Christine of Palmer Twp., Richard L. Marsh and wife Diane of Washington, NJ; sisters Arlene Ziegafuse of Nazareth, Dorothy Modolo of Pen Argyl; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a sister Gladys Bone; brothers Clifford and Charles Marsh.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
