My Deepest sympathies to Jim's Family! Haven't seen Jim for many, many years but have many memories of all of us hanging out in our teen years. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

Jim - my deepest sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time. It is never easy to lose a parent, especially one so young. I hope that, in time, your happy memories will comfort you. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Jimmy took me under his wing and taught to be a better softball hitter. He was one of the good ones and he will be missed. RIP friend.

James W. Mattingly, Sr.James W. Mattingly, Sr. died suddenly at his home on Monday, January 17, 2011. He was 62.Born in Trenton, NJ, the son of Clara V. (Rigby) and the late James F. Mattingly, he has been a life long Lower Bucks County resident.Jim was a local softball legend and was a member of the Trenton/Mercer County Softball Hall of Fame. He was an avid Yankees fan.He was a US Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.Jim loved being with his family and was always there whenever you needed him.Along with his mother Clara, Jim is survived by his loving children, Lisa A. Herzog (Shawn) of Morrisville and James W. Jr. (Doreen); his grandchildren, Heather, Brittany, Cody, Chelsea, Erin and Kira; his great granddaughter, Kirsten and his brothers, Bob of Cherry Hill, NJ and Dave and his wife, Maryann of Langhorne. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be private.Memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monum
