James's Obituary

James Douglas Mullins, 73, passed away at his home in Templeton, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 12:01 a.m.    James was born in Martin, in Floyd County, Kentucky, on December 12, 1951.  He was the son of the late Boyd and Marie (Edwards) Mullins.  He has resided in Templeton since 1986,    James worked as a crane operator at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica for 33 years.  After his retirement from Harrison Steel he continued to work at Hahn Craft in Otterbein. He also was a caregiver to his mother-in-law and father-in-law.    James was a member and Trustee of the Old Fashioned United Baptist Church in Independence.  He enjoyed bowling and bowled on several leagues in Lafayette, Fowler and Attica.  He also enjoyed raising a flower garden at home.    On May 14, 1983, James married Gloria A. Worley in Swanington, IN.He leaves behind his wife, Gloria of 42 years along with a son, Jason (Tina) Mullins, Attica; four grandchildren, Jacy (Kole) Nicholas, Templeton; Sally (CC) Nguyen, Lafayette; Jayne Mullins and Trigg Jordan, both of Attica; a great-granddaughter, Oaklynn Nicholas; three brothers, Alan Mullins, West Lebanon; Arlie “Bub” (Donna) Mullins and Timmy (Chrissy) Mullins, both of Williamsport; two sisters, Rita (Dennis) Craig, Lafayette and Carol Williamson, Columbus, IN.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Morgan Mullins.    Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, September 29th, from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at noon with Brothers Joel Whitehead and Henry Bell Jr. officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Fashioned United Baptist Church in Independence.
