I am deeply saddened to hear of Barry's death! He was one of my most favorite students, and I looked forward to "running into him" at Buggy Days each year. He was a good man; I was so proud of him. Heaven's looking sweeter all the time.

It is with great sorrow I received the notification of James Passing. He was a great soldier. Had my deepest regards to his survivors. I am out of town and will not be able to attend the funeral. James Barry Padgett, Jr. Barnesville . . . James Barry Padgett, Jr. died Friday, August 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Scott Harrell and Reverend Lewis Shirley will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.Mr. Padgett was born September 19, 1974, in Hinesville, Georgia.
