Not sure what to say?

Jim, only knew you for a short time. But what i learned was you were a very helpful person and did a lot for everyone you knew. It was fun to talk to you about germany even though you were stationed there a lot sooner than I was. I always knew when it was time to start mowing every year when I heard you coming down the road in your mower. Also had a fun time driving you to have your new truck checked out at the dealer. I also had fun driving your mower that time mowing your lawn. Was great....

I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He always had a way to make you feel welcome. Jim and Eleonore were true friends of my mother, and always treated our family warmly. Jim will always remain in our hearts.

Besides his "Ma Bell" career, Jim had a side business reconditioning lawn mowers and other equipment. He had customers from all over the region and kept those friendships for decades. For years he had a big garage sale during the annual Spring Fever weekend. Most people don't know that over 20 years ago Jim and Eleonore set up a scholarship endowment with Barnum...
