My condolences to my cousins families, may he rest in peace from Jimmy Gibbons

Thoughts with Carrie and the boys today. You all were the best neighbors when I lived on Webster in Somerville. Sending love to everyone he left behind.

My thoughts and prayers are with you .

So sorry to the Scimimi family for your loss. Jimmy had a unique personality and a wonderful sense of humor,he and his family were staples in E. Somerville and will be sorely missed.my sincere condolences ,so sorry as Jimmy was a great guy.

Jimmy was my best friend for 47 years-we met at 15 years old. His love and enduring friendship had a profound effect on me and my life. He showed me what true friendship was and will always have a special place in my heart. I probably knew him the best-which is why now I hurt the most. He will live on in his four children-and that's a blessing.

My heart is broken for the Scimemi family. I know how much Jimmy was loved. He was one of the good guys. Even after all these years Jimmy always kept in touch and made me feel like a special part of his life. Rest in the sweetest peace, Jimmy. You will be missed.

The news of cousin Jimmy's passing was profoundly heartbreaking, even from afar. I will sorely miss his spontaneous humorous messages and phone calls. He would consistently check in on me during hurricane season. He would delight in sharing stories about the beauty of fall in Massachusetts and his conviction that I would love it there. He would also share news about his children's achievements, exuding pride. I am deeply thankful for social media, which has enabled me to reconnect with family...
