Jimmy was one of the sweetest people I ever knew. His smile was beautiful! And he always showed so much love. He went through so much in this life but he always stayed true to who he was! I pretty much grew up with all the Severcool children due to our parents being close friends. Jimmy was such a wonderful friend and sorta big brother who I missed greatly over the years. RIP my friend until we get to meet again.

James L. Severcool, 56, of Friendsville, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. He was born in Montrose, PA on June 13, 1965 to the late Lester and Mary (Stockholm) Severcool.
Surviving is his wife, Becky J. Johnson, Friendsville, PA, three daughters and son-in-law, Dawn and Joshua Pinney, Conklin, NY, Kimberly Severcool, Binghamton, NY, Ashley M. Brumbley, Friendsville, PA, nine grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Terry Severcool, Friendsville, PA, nephew, Tommy (Kelsey) Severcool, Friendsville, PA, in-laws, Frank and Letha “Tiny” Johnson, Friendsville, PA, sister-in-law, Rachel Moyer, Anthony, FL, four brothers-in-law and their spouses, Richard and Rebecca Johnson, Anthony, FL, Franklin, Jr. and Tonya Johnson, Anthony, FL, Brian Snell and Debbie Wallace, Franklin Forks, PA, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Teddy Severcool, grandson, Isaiah Anthony Severcool, niece, Melissa M. “Missy” Lorence, brother-in-law, Eric J. Snell.
Jim was the most kind, caring, loving, and generous man you could ever meet. He worked in the stone quarries most of his adult life. He loved family, friends and animals. He especially loved all his grandchildren, they all would call him “Papa Bear”. His hobbies were working in the garage with Frank Johnson, riding motorcycles and four wheelers. He also loved to play the guitar. This amazing man will surely be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Just remember, love never leaves.
