James F. Vangieri

James F. VangieriJames F. Vangieri, age 86, of Downingtown, PA died on February 16, 2017.  Born in Belmont Hills, PA and raised in Ardmore, PA, James was a graduate of Lower Merion High School.  James was a parishioner of St. Joseph in Downingtown, PA. An avid sports fan, James always cheered for the Phillies, loved to collect autographs and enjoyed watching all sports.  He also enjoyed caring for his gardens.  James was a very loving man who cared greatly for his entire family.  He was always there if you needed him.  Also, he was much loved on his postal route.  James was predeceased by his brothers, Francis (Frances), Louis (Mary), Anthony (Maryanne).  He is survived by his brother, George, and five nephews and their families.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 24th, 11 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. 460 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335.  Friends and family may call from 10 - 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.  Arrangements: Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home15 E.
