In 1968 I was in 3rd grade and one day my teacher, Mrs Brown, came in the classroom and wrote on the chalk board “it’s a boy”. It was James. After school I ran home so excited to see my baby brother. When I got to his crib he was purple. He was a big boy over 9 pounds. I looked at my mom who was laying down across from him and said “is he OK?” She said “yes”. I raised him up and kissed him. James and I were second cousins. We were around the same age. When we were younger, I would stay the night and play monopoly till sun rise. I moved away.
