Jamie's Obituary

Jamie Joseph Kurisco age 50 passed away unexpectedly in his home on April 15, 2014. He was born July 9, 1963 in Bethlehem, PA to Marie (Schulberger) Kurisco and Joseph Kurisco. He attended Liberty High School in Bethelehem and moved to Toledo in 1985. Jamie worked for several different companies in Toledo. In 1999, he returned to school and earned his BA in HVAC, Pipefitting from Eastern Center for Arts and Technology in Willow Grove PA. After graduation, he worked several years as a pipe fitter for Worth and Co. in Pipersville, PA.Started Most recently Jaime was a chrome plater at Hale Performance Chrome in Toledo since 2009. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Jamie loved the outdoors including boating on Lake Erie fishing for walleye and perch.He is survived by his daughter Heather Kurisco; grandson Tyler Wright; sister- Kim Kurisco; nieces Jennifer Kraynick and Lindsey Treen; great nieces- Jazmyne, Rosalyn, and Simone Craft; and great nephew Julian Perry; numerous other relatives in Bethlehem PA area and many special friends also survive.Family will receive friends Tuesday after 6 PM at the Foth – Dorfmeyer Mortuary 3815 Sylvania Ave. (Between Monroe St. & Talmadge Rd.) followed by a Celebration of His Life at 7:30 PM. The family suggests memorial tributes be made to his grandson Tyler’s education fund.
