Jane's Obituary
Jane E. Freese, 76, of Marshalltown, passed away on Friday, August 18th, at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August, 23, 2017, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. Born Jane Elizabeth Biggs on December 6th, 1940, in Milan, Missouri, she was the daughter of Lester and Alberta (Halladay) Biggs. She graduated from the Marshalltown High School’s Class of 1959. Jane was united in marriage to Charlie Freese and even though they parted, they were both blessed with three dear children, Jay, Jackie and Judy. Jane called Garwin home and was employed at the Town and Country Vet Clinic. Twelve years ago she moved to Marshalltown. Family was the most precious part of her life and she treasured the time spent with them and enjoyed card games, camping, ballgames, sports and making crafts.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Jay (Cindy) Freese of Montour and Jackie (Tim) Stonewall, and Judy Freese of Marshalltown; grandchildren, Conner and Marriah; sister Shirley (Mike) Keen of Marshalltown, her aunt, Virginia Biggs of LaPlata, Missouri, her nieces, nephews and a host of friends and her loving fur baby, JoJo.
In death, she rejoined her parents and cousin, Bob Grassle.
