Dear Kaarin, Tony, Dianne and families, my sympathies to you for your loss, but your memories will help to ease the pain. I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't know Jane or the family both growing up in Denver, our parents knew each other well. I admired her for her kindness and love for family and friends. Jane was a beautiful woman inside and out and will be missed.

My condolences to Jane’s family . Jane was my high school classmate ,I always appreciated seeing her at our high school reunions 25. 50 , and 65 . Jane has been a friend forever and I will miss her being among my senior years of my life. Rest in peace Jane .

Jane, you have always been a wonderful, gracious and artistic friend, whom I have known since our childhood - Camp Fire Girls, CU roommates, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorors and Link Sisters, God Mother to Leslye, my daughter, sharing our families and a dear sister friend to me through the years. It is so difficult to not have you here but I know that you are at peace and free of pain resting in the arms and love of Carl and your elders. I will always remember you and miss you greatly.

Jane was a smart, beautiful, caring and classy woman. She was committed to the education of students in Denver, and spoke up about children's needs and educational injustices when others remained silent. I learned a great deal from Jane and will be forever grateful. Sympathy to the whole Pigford family and all who loved Jane.
It was a privilege to know her.
