Jane's Obituary

Jane Schneck, 86, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 29, 1938, in Northampton, a daughter of the late John and Fortuna E. Keppel. She was the wife of the late John J. Schneck Sr. Jane worked in the Deli department at the former Food Lane, Weis Market, and Acme. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post #454 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Friendly Fifties. She enjoyed doing ceramics, traveling with her husband John, going to the casino, loved dogs, and was a great cook and baker, and enjoyed taking walks. 

Survivors: sons, John Schneck, Jr and wife, Lucy, Joseph Schneck and wife, Julie, Jeffrey Schneck; grandsons, Joshua, Jacob, Jason, and Jared; several nieces and nephews. 

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 1st at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Stiles.
