Aunt Janet was my Mom's best friend! She was always giving and caring for others, putting others before herself. She was a wonderful person. She loved Jesus and it showed brightly in everything she did. I will never forgot the candy pail she always had for us kids when we went camping. Best of times. She fought a good fight and will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Our deepest sympathies in the passing of your wife and mother and sister. She was a beautifully kind woman who greeted everyone with that smile and genuine love. Words can't express what this lady meant to me. She adopted myself and my boys as her own and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for us and her entire family. You left such a wonderful legacy and we all will always miss you ! Love and prayers to the entire Ensink family

Janet Ensink (VandenBerg), age 77, of Zeeland, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, peacefully breathed her last on this earth surrounded by her family on Monday, June 18, 2018. She was greeted at heaven’s gates by her savior, Jesus Christ, and is now rejoicing with her heavenly Father cancer free. She is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Fred Ensink; children, Ed and Marti Ensink, Doug and Tracy Ensink, Mark and Sandy Ensink, Karen and Russ Topping, Marcia and Mike Hoeksema; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Brink; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kyle Hoonhorst, Marie and Robert Heyboer, Chuck and Barb Ensink, Robert and Karen Ensink. Funeral services for Janet will be held on Monday, June 25, at 11:00 A.M. at Zutphen Christian Reformed Church, 3223 40th Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426, with Pastor Josh Van Drunen officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Sunday, June 24, from 2 to 5 P.M. and on Monday from 10 to 11 A.M. at Zutphen CRC. Memorial contributions may be made to Feed My Starving Children.
