I am deeply saddened the Janet is no longer physically amongst us. I enjoyed working and talking with her throughout of careers in media. Her laughter and frankness will be missed. Our Deepest sympathy to her family.

It was such a joy to work with Janet over the last few years. Her work ethic was strong and she always kept it positive and light. She is very missed by her MRG SCR team! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. I enjoyed working with her and running into her around town. She was always smiling and I enjoyed catching up. Will miss her. Deepest sympathy to her family.

Janet was such a joy to work with. I always enjoyed our conversations and how we "had each others backs" if one of us made a mistake :-) I will truly miss her, she was such a fun person to work with. I hope her family finds peace in knowing how great of a person she was!

Janet and I entered into the media sales world at just about the same time, and our paths continuously crossed. Actually, three times over, fate would have it! For that, I am thankful, because she was always the person to greet you with a genuine smile and a friendly face. She was quick to connect and make a joke that would leave both of us chuckling, and I'm pretty sure every conversation with Janet was at least 30 minutes in length. She was an absolute sweetheart. Janet's Obituary

Janet L. Slaughter (nee Stigler) 52 years old, passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 28, 2025.

Janet was born on December 25,1972 to the late John (Jack) Stigler and Patricia (Geglein) Stigler. She was the loving wife and “Best Friend” to Jack F. Slaughter. She was a cherished and loving sister to Jennifer (Tom) Buckley, John (Trisha) Stigler and Julia Stigler. She was a loving Aunt to T.J, Morgan, Ian, Brady and Arlo. She is also survived by many family members and friends.

Janet loved spending time traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Parish, 3105 Madison Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45209.

If desired, memorials may be made in Jaet's name to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or Cincinnati Down Syndrome Association.
