Dr. McConville was my children's pediatrician and got us through all the bumps and scrapes from their births until she retired. I remember her as a patient and caring person.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Janice in person, but did have a few lovely chats over the phone with her in recent times. She created a beautiful human, in her daughter Fiona, whom I work for (and built a friendship with), therefore I know that she must also have been a beautiful human herself ❤

My mother Janice Marion McKay McConville was a force of nature. She was ahead of her time in championing women in medicine. She was a guiding light in the safe care of children and babies. She was a loving and caring mother. And she gave me an example of how to live a beautiful love story. They say that all true love stories end with tragedy, when one partner dies. But my father was there at the end to welcome my mother into the next great adventure. Love you both, and have fun!
