I remember the first time I saw you, was at blue springs freewill. You were singing and I went because my mamaw asked me to go. I was 26 and couldn't believe my eyes. I looked at you and looked at my mamaw. I kept looking back and forth at you and mamaw in awe. I was blown away. I said mamaw that lady looks just like you, you all could be twins! I remember Mack & Jan who came to our Church back in The 60’s and early70’s Where my Dad was Pastor! They both Were the Sweetest People and it was a Joy and Blessing to here them Sing !!!! Prayers to The Family!!!

Janice's Obituaries

Janice Lee Robinette, 93, of Williamson, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her daughter's home in Kodak, Tennessee. She was born on October 19, 1932, in Belfry, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy Ball and Mae Reynolds Ball.     In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Malcolm "Mack" Robinette; her sister, Alberta Hatfield; her brothers, Kennith Ball, Billy Ball, and Estil Hatfield; her sister-in-law, Yvonne Ball; her son-in-law, whom she loved dearly, Floyd "June" Smith, as well as three nieces and one nephew.     Janice worked for many years in the medical records department at Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was a faithful member of Toler Freewill Baptist Church, where she loved singing gospel music and playing the guitar. Her love for music and her church family brought her great joy throughout her life.     Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Sharon Smith of Williamson, West Virginia; Donna (Wally) Floyd of Kodak, Tennessee; Tim (Evelyn) Robinette of Louisa, Kentucky; and David (Pam) Robinette of Hardy, Kentucky. She is also survived by her sisters, Jacqueline Ball Hensel of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and Phyllis Ball Sullivan of Blackberry, Kentucky; her sisters-in-law, Ruby Ball of Turkey Creek, Kentucky, and Vada Ball of Greenfield, Indiana; Eight Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.      Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Toler Freewill Baptist Church, with Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Huddy, Kentucky. Janice's grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at R.E.
